“DuckFerries.com” means the domain name used under license of DuckFerries s.r.o., a registered company in the Czech Republic (Sokolovská 428/130, 186 00 Praha) with identification number 08160686. By using and/or visiting the Site for making fast boat bookings you agree to these General Terms and Conditions, the Privacy Policy and the Terms of Use and Site Use (“the Terms”) and you expressly consent and agree to be bound by the Terms and all applicable laws and regulations that govern this Site and your booking. DuckFerries.com acts as a booking portal for booking fast boat tickets on the website www.DuckFerries.com (the “Site”).
Important Information
The site acts as a booking agent only in respect of all bookings made on the site. The site has entered into contracts with the fast boat companies('FB') on our website. These contracts ensure that the FB will act in the best possible way towards the customers of the site. This means that in the unlikely event there is a problem with a customer's booking, e.g a mechanical problem with a boat, the FB will seek to resolve the situation to the customer's satisfaction at no added cost to the customer. i.e. arranging another boat company to transport the passengers. In the unlikely event that the FB cannot fulfill the customer's requirements, DuckFerries.com will issue a full refund to the customer, where a payment has been made.
DuckFerries.com undertakes no responsibility for, and is not liable for, the misrepresentations, breaches of contract, breaches of statutory duty or negligence of any FB whose products and services are sold through our website. This means that in the event of you suffering personal injury, illness or death as a result of any act or omission of an FB (or their employees or agents) or you having any complaint about the quality of the services provided or having any other complaint at all, your sole right of redress will be against the independent third party who provided such service and DuckFerries.com will be under no liability at all (whether in contract, tort or otherwise howsoever).
You accept that DuckFerries.com has not in any way selected or assembled your travel arrangements for you. Your accommodation and travel arrangements and other services are not a package and do not fall within the meaning of The Package Travel, Package Holidays and Package Tours Regulations 1992.
By proceeding to book accommodation and/or boat tickets through the Site, you accept that you will indirectly be entering into a contract with the accommodation and /or other service providers and therefore any claims or complaints should be made directly with the accommodation and /or FB. In the event of any claims or complaints please also contact us at [email protected].
You understand that DuckFerries.com may not have conducted any quality or other checks on the accommodation providers or other FB and DuckFerries.com makes no representations about the suitability of the accommodation and/or FB for sale through the Site. The inclusion or offering for sale of an accommodation and/or services by DuckFerries.com does not constitute an express or implied endorsement or recommendation by DuckFerries.com of such accommodation or FB. DuckFerries.com does not guarantee the accuracy of and disclaim liability for any inaccuracies relating to the accommodation and FB offered for sale through our site.
Nothing in these terms of use shall operate to exclude or limit the liability of DuckFerries.com for fraudulent misrepresentation or death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
Where you, or any of the people that you are booking on behalf of, are in breach of any of the provisions of these Terms or contravention of any laws or rights of a third party, DuckFerries.com reserves the right to cancel your booking without refund or compensation in any way and recover from you any costs incurred as a result of your behavior.
Before you finish booking you should read the Terms and Conditions of each company which will be fulfilling your order. You can see the link at the bottom of the page of the company here at the site. By making the order which means that you agree with this document, you also agree with the terms and conditions of each company fulfilling your order.
Site content, documentation and booking information.
DuckFerries.com may modify the content of the Site and/or Terms at any time, and such modification shall be effective immediately upon posting of the modified content and/or Terms on the Site and your continued use of or access to this website will be deemed to indicate your acceptance of the modified content and/or Terms.
Any information placed on the Site relating to hotels or other FB advertised on the Site including, but without limitation, details of the hotel/FB, availability, price of the services, the facilities available, any accreditations afforded to the hotel and/or any details relating to any FB advertised on the Site have been provided by the accommodation and/or FB who are independent businesses and are not agents or employees of DuckFerries.com or its affiliates. Such information does not constitute any advice or recommendation given by DuckFerries.com and DuckFerries.com shall not be held liable for inaccuracies or errors in the information contents or any of its elements. These independent businesses provide the services in accordance with their own terms and conditions (excluding cancellations policy detailed below) which may limit or exclude their liability to you. DuckFerries.com and its affiliates are not liable for any acts, omissions, breaches or negligence of any such independent businesses or any damages or expenses resulting from the aforesaid. DuckFerries.com and its affiliates are not liable for any refunds in the event of overbooking or force majeure or any other cause beyond their control.
As DuckFerries.com acts as a booking agent, DuckFerries.com will have no responsibility for any errors in any documentation except where those errors were made by DuckFerries.com.
Confirmation
To confirm a booking, you must be authorized to make the booking by all persons named on the booking and their parent or guardian for all party members who are under 18 when the booking is made. By making the booking, you are confirming that all persons named on the booking accept the Terms and that you will inform the other persons named on the booking of the confirmation details and any other appropriate information. By making the booking you also become responsible for making all payments due under the booking. You will receive an email confirmation of your bookings.
Confirmation for Singapore
Once you receive the booking reference number of Batam Fast company your booking is confirmed.
When you receive an e-ticket with your booking details and your reservation will be confirmed by Limbongan Maju company via email.
DuckFerries.com will take full payment for Fast Boat tickets booked through www.duckferries.com.
If you cancel, amend or change a boat booking
Modify Policy for Bali
Changing names is fine even the last minute before the trip. Changing dates, however, can be more complicated, especially during the high season. Most of our partnering companies are very flexible and do not mind changing the date of the travel, even two or one-day prior departure. It is always better to make the change as soon as possible to avoid complications. If your departure is in less than seven days, we cannot guarantee free date change. To reschedule your booking with a different company, send your request on your booking log or via Facebook or WhatsApp. There will be a price match for the new trip you requested. If the new price is lower, we will refund your extra payment bigger then €6; But if the new price is more expensive, we will send you a payment request via PayPal. Contact our customer support.
Modify Policy for Singapore
You may modify your travel dates or time up to 48hours before departure. It will be charged €6 administration fee for each amendment in Singapore. To make changes you may contact the fast boat company you are traveling with directly. Contact information will be detailed in the confirmation email you will receive immediately after you make a booking through our website.
Modify Policy for Thailand
You can change the time or date before departure time depends on the terms and conditions of the company. Please note that change fees may apply. Only when you travel with Tigerline Ferry it is possible to change the passenger name in at least 1 day before the departure date. Please note that change fees may apply.
Cancellation Policy For Bali
Cancelations made more than 2 weeks from the departure date will receive a full refund paid directly from DuckFerries.com. Cancellations made more than 2 days (the midnight of the local time), but less than 2 weeks, before the departure date will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations made within 2 days (the midnight of the local time) before the departure date will receive no refund. The final amount of refund will be deducted by the transaction and handling fee of €6. In case of cancelation due to bad conditions of weather meaning that fast boat companies are not allowed to provide services due to security reasons, we charge handling and transaction fee €6 from the price of the refunded ticket. This cancellation policy overrides any of the boat companies' individual cancellation policies and all refunds will be made by DuckFerries.com.
Cancellation Policy For Singapore
Cancellations made at least 48 hours before departure date will be charged 50 % of the ticket fare. Cancelations made less than 48 hours before departure date will be charged 100 % of the ticket fare. The administration fee for a refund is €10 per ticket.
Cancellation Policy For Thailand
You can cancel your booking when you travel with Seatran Discovery, Andaman Wave Master, Tigerline Ferry, Boonsiri and cancellation is made at least 48 hours before departure time. For Bundhaya Speed Boat and Satun Pakbara Speed Boat with cancellation made at least 72 hours before departure time. The cancellation charge depends on the terms and conditions of the company.
No shows will be considered as cancellations for all FB.
When notifying the fast boat companies of a cancellation, please copy the email to [email protected] so that we can process your refund. All the contact information is detailed on the email confirmation sent to you for your booking.
Payment
All boat tickets are paid for in full on www.DuckFerries.com.
Age and responsibility
You warrant that you are 18 years of age or over and have the legal capacity to use the Site and to create a legally binding contract.
You warrant that all personal information submitted during booking is correct and you accept financial responsibility for all transactions made under your name or account.
You hereby authorize DuckFerries.com to process all Personal Information about you and the persons named on the booking that has been obtained in connection with your booking. Personal information shall be deemed to include, but not be limited to any telephone numbers, fax numbers, email addresses, addresses of residences, signatures, ID or passport copies, or any other information belonging to you or your group.
The Personal Information that DuckFerries.com collects shall be obtained, processed and transmitted in compliance with European Directives 95/46 and 2002/58, as well as any other such legislation that substitutes, complements and develops it. Before you travel
DuckFerries.com is not liable for damages or losses that may result from travel to any particular destination. The Government of your country may help travelers stay safe overseas. Check with your government for the latest advice on conditions and general information concerning specific countries.
It is your responsibility to ensure you have the relevant travel and health documents before departure for the country you are visiting, which shall include but is not limited to, any inoculations that may be required, identification and passport. DuckFerries.com shall not be liable for any expense incurred resulting from your missing, incomplete or incorrect documentation or any non-compliance with requirements.
Traveling to Singapore
When you travel with Limbongan Maju: Pregnancy up to 27 weeks (inclusive) will be required the submission of a doctor’s medical certificate confirming the number of weeks of pregnancy and medical certificate confirming the number of weeks of pregnancy. Pregnancy between 28 weeks and above travel: not allowed.
When you travel with Batam Fast: Pregnancy up to 27 weeks (inclusive) will be accepted without a medical certificate. Pregnancy between 28 weeks and above will be required a doctor’s certificate confirming the number of weeks of pregnancy and that passenger is fit to travel. Certificate shall have been issued not more than seven (7) days before the scheduled departure date.
Insurance
You are strongly advised to take out adequate travel insurance prior to arriving at your destination. It is your responsibility to check you have adequate insurance cover. The insurance should cover, amongst other things, the cost of cancellation by you, personal losses, all medical costs and the costs of assistance including return to your country of residence in the event of an accident or illness.
Force Majeure
DuckFerries.com will not be liable for any changes, cancellation, effect on your booking, loss or damage suffered by you or for any failure by the accommodation or other service providers and/or DuckFerries.com to perform or properly perform any of our respective obligations to you which is due to any event(s) or circumstance(s) if the non performance is caused by force majeure. In addition in case of cancelation due to bad conditions of weather meaning that fast boat companies are not allowed to provide services due to security reasons, we charge handling and transaction fee 6 euros from the price of the refunded ticket. By way of example force majeure includes, but is not limited to, war, revolution, terrorist act, closure of borders, epidemic, natural catastrophe or other causes that seriously affect both parties and other unforeseeable causes beyond DuckFerries.com's control.
Currency converter
Currency rates are based on various publicly available sources and are only updated daily; as such they cannot be guaranteed as completely accurate and should be used as guidelines only. Actual rates may vary and you may wish to verify these with a qualified professional.
Legislation and Courts of Jurisdiction
This agreement will be governed by Czech law and any disputes will be dealt with by the Czech courts.
Last-minute booking
If you bought the booking for the next day we reserve the right to cancel your booking. The cancellation fee is 6 EUR and is non-refundable. We also reserve the right to upgrade or downgrade your booking depends on the current situation on the market. With no additional fee or compensation. If you will not receive email from us you can consider your booking to be confirmed exactly as you booked it - on your ticket - which we will email you as soon as you finish the order. If your selected option will not be available we will inform you via email. On top of that our standard cancellation policy applies here.
DuckFerries.com privacy policy
DuckFerries.com understands that making purchases online involves your trust and that you wish to remain in control of your personal information. Retaining your trust is a responsibility that DuckFerries.com takes very seriously. By disclosing your Personal Information to DuckFerries.com using this Site or over the telephone, you consent to the collection, storage, and processing of your Personal Information by DuckFerries.com as stated in this Privacy Policy.

You hereby give express consent to allow the incorporation of any data provided to the files of existing personal data in DuckFerries.com and to the treatment of such for the purpose of management, administration, mediation and contracting of the services offered by DuckFerries.com, the management of the bookings and the collection of products and services through DuckFerries.com, call centers; the management of incidences; statistics; commercial publicity and other promotions by means of electronic mail, SMS, MMS or any other similar mean, and the subscription to news bulletins.
DuckFerries.com may use the Personal Information to contact you about important changes to the Site, new services and details of other products and services offered by DuckFerries.com. Where DuckFerries.com collects such information, DuckFerries.com makes clear the nature of the information and the purposes for which it is used.
